"Belkalopolos sets out to heal residual divides in the “Pearl” children of divorce,
applying the anthroposophical wisdom behind Waldorf education, biodynamic farming, anthroposophical medicine, curative eurythmy, and Goethean art and color theory. This resource book is filled with integrated healing practices and techniques, using fairytale, biographies, visualizations, verses, myths, practical exercises in childcare, anthroposophical movement, and meditations. It brings natural spiritual understandings to the pain of divided hearts."

Video Trailer for The Pearl and the Hut
The following video is meant for adult children of divorce and their inner-child, feeling experience, as well as those who want to understand the needs of children of divorce and help. It is not recommended for children under age 12 to view, or for some before age 18. That is for the sensitivity of their emotional experience and the desire of the author not to trigger children or youths who may not be ready or supported to have such feelings touched. Though the video is a creation out of heartfelt empathy and mindfulness to important themes in many child of divorce lives, some adult children of divorce may want a capable support person to view this short clip with, as they could find themselves coping unexpectedly with intense or confused feelings.

Due to changing cultural conditions in Canada, the author chose to write and do social and artistic pursuits for
almost 30 years under her paternal family’s original Greek name, Belkalopolos. That name was changed to an Anglican name by Canadian authorities when her grandfather immigrated to Canada in order to be accepted in society.
With 30 years of legal documents in the Anglican name, the author has kept that name, Janice Amy Belcher,
for ease in legal purposes and to honor her Anglo family side. Copyright and all legal matters for this book
